Galaxy RMA - scam

Call their office and keep asking for a higher up to help you if the current sob is being difficult. The customer is always right! Be firm, but not an ass about it and you shouldn't have a problem getting things sorted out.

first off, how long has it been (since you say they ignored you)?

next you should start learning about your rights and which government agencies can help you.

I don't know about getting government agencies on this case just yet. Emails get overlooked, notes disappear - it happens. I would call them up and don't hang up until you get your answer. It happens, but in my experiences with Galaxy, they have been really great about customer service and gone above and beyond the call - they might just need a little nudge in the right direction this time around.

It has been about 5 days. They usually get back to me within a day. Their "service" is usually good in communication....usually.
but yeah, I will PM the rep after work today. thanks.

What happens if you aim a fan into the case? Can you visibly see that the card's fan is spinning? Have you tried popping it apart and reapplying thermal paste? It is also possible that the thermal sensor is bad. You shouldn't have to be messing with this, but it happens occasionally.

the fans on the card are spinning. i haven't taken the card apart yet, for fear my warranty may be voided. but i dont understand why they would give me 2 cards with messed up thermal paste/sensors
