I was able to pick one of these up for $60 from someone locally. Any ideas on what these overclock to? It's 64MB, and has all stock cooling (including the stock ramsinks). I don't have any documentation on it. If anyone who owns that card would help out, I'd appreciate it.

you could probably get it up to ti4600 speed, maybe straight out with all stock, or you might need to put a fan blowing on it. ti4600 clocks are core:300mhz mem:325/650. I can get my ti4600 from gainward up to core:330mhz and mem:367.5/735.

Gainward made some great geforce 4 cards that would overclock a lot. The only down fall was some of the cards had a problem with the card dieing with red/purple dots and other artifacts, most of the time even without overclocking.

My orginal ti4400 card from them died with that problem (after a year of having it), so I RMA'd it back to them and by luck I got a dual-dvi, VIVO, golden sample ti4600 instead.

I have a Gainward Ti4200 (a non Golden Sample 64 MB version) and I found that I can run the core to 295 with stock cooling. With my card have found that I cannot bump the memory speed up so I typically leave it at stock. My experience has been that the card gets unstable the higher I try to raise the memory speed. Great buy for $60, enjoy.

I run my gainward ti4200 at 279/594 . The core will clock higher, but i don't see any gains. The ram doesn't like to go any higher. Probably because they have no ramsink on them. Mine is a non gold version and has been running at the above speeds w/o issue for 1.5 years or so.

I got it to 300/600 after removing the stock HSF and putting some AS5 on it. Any higher on the memory and it starts to artifact in 3D2001. It is nice considering the guy I got it from has a 3.25 ghz AIM box

Not a bad O/C for that card. I know gainward had 1 64mb model where the memory O/C'd well into the 700's (had ~3.3ns RAM I believe).
