Gaim Wont Connect

Maybe you guys and gals can help me with this problem. :)

I'm running Fedora Core 5 x86_64 with Gnome and I can't get Gaim to connect to my MSN account. I get a message saying 'Could Not Contact Server'. I have disabled IPv6, because my router refuses to work otherwise. I have tried setting my router as a proxy too. I have used unlocked ports, locked ports, using port 80 and it still wont connect.

Any suggestions? :confused:

Im pretty new with linux, so please bare with me :)

Does the machine do everything else internet related (www, ftp, etc) ok? Are you running the latest version of GAIM?
 
It runs everything as smooth as a babies bottom. I can do everything net related fine. I can yum everything too. I have got the latest Gaim and I've tried the new beta, but nothing seems to work.

At the minute im trying to get my XP install to stop crashing when I open winamp :rolleyes: I reckon its my gfx card. :/

I'll be using FC5 again in a couple days. lol.
