Gadgets not loading?

I'm using Windows Vista here, just recently performed an update on it.

But ever since thrusday night my gadget bar does not load on startup anymore. I physically have to open it through the Control Panel now and I find that doing it that was is more trouble than its worth.

I know its not a big deal but I kind of liked my gadget bar, I was able to shut my rig down with it, check on proc usage and such.

Anybody have any idea what happened to it?
 
Can't say that I know what would have caused it but have you checked the Sidebar settings to see if the "Start sidebar when Windows starts" option is enabled?
 
Well, no I hadn't. Thank you.

What I find odd is that when I opened the Side Bar Options the little box was not checked. It was checked a few days ago. No idea how it got unchecked.

Thank you for the help, your suggestion was the problem.
