They work until I install the software that it came with. Then it stops. Are the ones on this CD the most recent ones?

Why would you install the software anyways?
You should get the latest chipset drivers from www.intel.com
Latest Gigabyte SATA (purple ports) from www.gigabyte.com.tw
LAN drivers from Realtek
Same with audio drivers
You should get the latest chipset drivers from www.intel.com

When I said software, I meant the drivers. I downloaded the chipset from gigabyte.com as well to make sure i got the newest one and still. No USB. So I uninstalled the drivers. I will try to download the chipset from intel and see what happens.
