G930 - no audio

I bought a Logitech G930 today, came home, installed the drivers disk and plugged in the USB transmitter and get no audio. I can here feedback coming from my microphone (fan hitting it) but that is it. The Device is recognized in Device Manager, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software that came with the headset and get nothing but the same thing
