Does anyone know if nvidia is still working on g80 drivers for xp or are they focusing all efforts on vista. I for one am not touching vista with a ten foot pole until DDR3 becomes available 4 gig kits, an intel quad core that does not lose performance in 64 bit mode or an amd quad core that beats an intel processor which ever comes around the same time as the ram, more programs get accustom to vistas security methods so they don't cause warning that come up every time you try to change or install something, and last more programs that use 64 bit mode.

Yes, 3 different ones that I know of thus far. I am using the 97.92's. They are working wonderfully.

I noticed after I bought the 8800 GTS I have around 10% of my games with odd performance problems. I really hope they do some more work on the drivers.

another vote for 97.92. I am very happy with them. Good performance, stability, and IQ. I added my 2nd card for SLI goodness on Monday and didn't even need to reload the drivers.. XP found the card, well I am not sure if it was more XP or the drivers really, but the drivers loaded for the 2nd card without me doing anything and after one reboot SLI was working perfectly. pretty nice.

I think the last drivers I used with SLI were 81.xx something.. with my 7900GTs.. that was back in September 2006 or something.. it's been a while.. anyways, adding another card was not as easy then, it required a driver wipe and re-install... well, it did for me.. anyways.. straying here..

The 97.44's worked almost perfectly for me. The only complaint about them that I have is that they didn't allow me to adjust the flat panel scaling options.

can you tell me if there is a fog issue with this drivers on source like hl2 or messiah?
