G51vx meltdown

My BB G51 bit the dust. I started playing newer games and ran into overheat issues.Warped the plastic slightly.

Went in to BB tonight and it's an early model and has a defect. I get a full credit for my next laptop.

No G73 in stock. They found one and are trying to transfer it. BB is dropping the G73.Stock is limited. If I can't get a G73, how does the G60 compare? Any other comparable BB choices out there? We have BB or nothing in the area, and I have to leave for work tomorrow night. I know there are better choices out there, but no time to wait. BB has been convenient, and at this rate I get a free new laptop every year.

With the G60 I get $ in my pocket. I don't mind paying a bit to get a nicer laptop.

I know around here there are probably 3 within 20 minutes I could go to and pick up

G73 just arrived from another store. It's not much bigger than the g51 and about the same weight. I've had just enough time to setup on my desk, and make a backup. Downside it won't fit any laptop case I own. It's even bigger than the 7 year old 17" dell's i have. I can see the lower res in the monitor, but all in all it seems to be nicely built. Time to load a few games. Let's hope it runs cooler.

G73 is the newest model with the ATI 5870 that's a good trade up from the G51.
