g5 laptop?

[tycoot]

I'm about to order a new powerbook, I dont know if i should wait a few months to see if their coming out with a g5 laptop or not, what do you all think?

No one really knows when the G5 Powerbooks are going to come out. They average update cycle for the Powerbooks is 18 months. With that said, an update is due. However, Apple is a announce on Sunday sell on Monday kind of company. So, if you wait to make a purchase, you'll always be waiting.

Kind of strange, since my the company my brother works out is going to buy him a G5 Powerbook...Yes a G5. Though he works for a company which works for the gov't so maybe that has something to do with it...but whatever. But seeing as you said Apple hasn't even made any mention of it, I find this very odd. Because I have asked if he means a G4, and he has made it clear he means a G5

They'll be out between now and then.
