I picked up a G5 mouse in the dell deal. When i got it i went to update the firmware from version 1.1 to 1.2. I used the executible file that logitech has for download. Half way threw the firmware update i got a BSOD. The only think i can think of is that it had a problem because i was using vista. Anyhow is there any way to fix it now? Ive already got a new one coming. I just was wondering if there was a way to unbrick a mouse.

go to device manager and update/reinstall the drivers. i was updating and monday to 1.2 and my firmware updater froze, and that is what fixed it. you can also get to that menu using just the keyboard if you don't have another mouse, it just takes some time.

its not showing up that i see in device manager. What did yours come up as? Also the light on the mouse doesnt come on.

my light was off also. im not sure what it showed in device manager, but it was under usb controllers, and it had the error code on it.
