Because I'm too lazy to price out all your components, what did this end up costing you?

Amazing build...
Where did you get the case from?

Thanks

I'm in the UK so not sure if its relevant but they are called Ebuyer.

Just turned node interleaving to disabled in the bios and TPF on the 6904 has dropped to 19:03 and 504,576.50 PPD

yes for g34 systems on linux NUMA needs to be enabled (i.e Disable Node Interleaving)

Yeah I had it on Auto, so it might or might not have been enabled, could be placebo effect :D

Hi guys,

I see you have nice configuration for you opteron processor. I just bought a tyan S8236-IL motherboard and an opteron 6214 interlagos. And the chipset produce heat like hell.I have a HAF 932 case and the thermaltake heatsink and fan on my processor who is at 14 ° on iddle ( i don't know why but the motherboard always use this fan at 4500 rpm even if the processor is really cold). So my processor is ok but my chipset is at 54 to 60 ° ( celcius i think because if it's farenheit the 14° of the processor don't make sense) and even if i do nothing with the computer. So do you have this kind of trouble with your amd chipset ? Do you think i need a watercooling ? Or the motherboard need to be replace ?

All the best, and sorry for my poor english i just start to learn this language

Ok thanks, the things is we are in winter and i didn't start to use a lot the server ( i'am working in data analysis,so i'am bad for my computer because i over use them). So i wonder if it will work in summer because this server is in my room and i don't have any air conditionning. So now i have to change my thermaltake cpu's fan ( it's too noisy ) for a Noctua one. But i don't know if it's a good idea, if i should invest in a water cooling now,and be able to have a solution for a chipset after with my watercooling solution.Does your chipset temp go higher want you have heavy use ?
All the best
