g15 media display

for some reason the media display does not work anymore. if i go into the game panel manager it says its running and task manager confirms that it is indeed running but it will not show up on the keyboard. all the others work fine (performance monitor, clock, countdown timer....). I use itunes
 
Mine did that a few times. I restarted the program and it worked.

Lately, after updating iTunes to the newest version, the media keys don't work when I don't have iTunes selected. Have you had that problem?
 
the keys still work (pause play next previous) but it just won't display on the lcd screen.
 
that happened to me once, and a restart fixed it.

the thing happening now if that when i try and control winamp, the keys double click. like if i press the next it skips 2 songs instead of one, if its paused and i click PLAY i see that it plays and pauses again. BUT if i have winamp selected, the keys work like they are suposed to...
 
I hate iTunes with the G15. The LCD Media program keeps quitting. This happens after about 15 min or so. I have to restart to get it back. Windows Media Player works flawlessly with it though.
 
i just found out that my GF installed her wireless KB on my pc to do some trouble shooting, and installed the software drivers and everything. after i took those off, i restarted, unistalled the G15 drivers and restarted, installed the G15 drivers and restarted. now everything works like it should. no more double clicking buttons :D
 
Well, mine still doesn't play when using buttons. The buttons only work when I switch to the iTunes window.

Weird.
