G-Sync flicker at load screens

So there is a known issue with G-Sync panels having subtle flicker at extreme low/high framerates such as when at a load screen:

Does anyone know if there is any update or workaround for this? It happens between every turn in Civ 5, and its starting to bug me more than tearing

My diablo 3 load screen flickers with gsync. It bugs the crap out of me. But no I don't think there is anything you can do, besides using ulmb instead

I have not experienced this problem with my PG278Q running at 144 Hz with G-sync enabled.

I had this happen on my BenQ while using the Blur Buster utility so I stopped using it for that reason
along with it fused my eyes shut after trying to wake up after a gaming session.
