G.Skill SSD Questions

Hey guys, I just got 2x64GB G.Skill Falcon SSD drives.

I'm running them in raid 0 on an Asus P6T motherboard. with windows7

3 questions:
1) how do i check my firmware version of the SSDs?
2) given that the SSDs are raid and are my system drive, how do i update the firmware (i want the trim support)
3)what's a good stripe size for a windows system raid? Its currently 128k.

1) You should be able to check this via the Intel Matrix Storage Console.
2) AFAIK, you'd need to disable RAID and update the firmware in some kind of CD or USB boot utility. Right now though the Intel RAID controller does NOT support the TRIM operation, even if Windows 7 and the SSD do. So no point, yet, in enabling that.
3) You might want to match that to the block size of the SSD, not sure though.

cool, so I have to run the wiper.exe manually? how often does this need to be done?
I'll make a system image later, and have a play with the stripe sizes i guess. right now anythings miles ahead of my old sata drive haah

EDIT: just found out, the wiper only works if you dont use RAID
