G.Skill Phoenix Pro questions

I have the 120gb version of this drive, and I seem to remember reading that you need to use the F6 (pre-install) version of the Intel RST drivers version 9.6 for the best results from this drive. Can anyone else confirm or deny this? I want to find out now so I can re-format quickly before I start getting comfortable with windows again. Thanks!
