This is really sweet just listen. I had a ti4600 that died I finally got my receipt and had it rma'd. It has been over a month and I complained I wanted my card fixed. They said they ran out (pny by the way) and the ti4600 is on indefinite B/O Today I come home and get a package from them and I open it up. Its a fx5900 128mb now I dont think its better than my 9800np but I just wanted to make sure I guess I can do my own benchmarking thinking about but I would like to sell it as new shit this card sells for 300.00 and I paid 200.00 for my 9800 from cc so your opinions please

they are fairly simlar but the 5900 is better. i also have the pny version and i just overclocked it to ultra speeds. no point in switching them out if you could make 300$

I really doubt you're going to get $300 for that card, especially being a PNY, since new BFG 5900 cards can be had for $175.

Since you have both cards, compare them out yourself and keep what you like.

You won't get $300 from that card unless you find a sucker, but the 9800 is generally better. Particularly with DX9. Better IQ as well.

Sell it though if you want, it's brand new and thats not a bad thing to get in the mail. Dunno what you'd actually get for it though.

I just got that price from cc I guess it goes for around 175-200 at ebay. I tested it . It does out perform my 9800 by 100 points in 3dmark2003 but in 3dmark 2001se my ati outperforms it by 600 points so go figure??
After trying the fx5900 tried it oced too all day I like the ati Just because of better picture quality fps feel the same. I noticed the nvidia gets really bright and blurs the picture. I put the blue orb on the ati (it fits) do I need to remove the square thing around the gpu?
