My system is:
Asus A8N-SLI
AMD Athlon 64 3000+@2447(306X8)
Asus EXTREME 6800GT @435/1244
KINGSTOM HYPER X 433Mhz@524MHz

I am thinking of buying an FX processor(propably FX-59 when is out...).
Someone told me that i need registered memory.
What exactly is it and wich advantage i will have?
These memorys that i have now(KINGSTOM HYPER X 433Mhz)are they registered one's?
Moreover do dualcores need registered memory or only FX?
Lastly which one do you think is better and i should buy? 4800+ or Fx-59(only on gaming performance)
Thanks in advance!!!!!

You wont need registered memory, That was when the First series of FX's came out (socket 940).. :) Only Opterons need Registered memory now..

yes, basically forget the notion of needing registed ram unless you're using a s940 board, which you aren't.. so don't worry. haha
