In gaming it's about as fast as a 3.0Ghz NW P4 matched up with the right board/ram.
In applications it pulls up a bit lame, but it's no slouch.

It exists. Socket 940 part.
It's quite a bit slower than the 3500/3700 because of the fact that it uses server boards and registered ram.

haha yeah, it's the same thing. the only thing the fx-53 has is an unlocked multiplier. but it's no longer considered any leeter than a 4000+
