FW900 has gone blurry

So I woke up today and relized that after a few minutes of being on my Sony FW900 goes really burry. I did some research and people say that means there is a leaky capacitor. Now apparently the repairs are pretty complicated, and it would just be easier to order a new LCD.

My question to you all is thus - is there a way to get a comparable quality LCD monitor for less than $300 right now? Is it possible to get a comparable quality LCD monitor at all?
