Hi Guys,

Just wondering, with the current C2D P965 and P975 motherboards, what CPUs can we see for them in the future?

I understand that sometime in the second half of 2007 there will be 1333Mhz variants of Conroe, will these work on the current Motherboards with mods?

Just curious about what we will see from C2D in the next year :D

Quad Core, and 45nm, thats about all there is to get excited for. 1333Mhz FSB, meh, overclock your chip if you want a faster bus.

975 and 965 boards have already been proven to support quad-core and 1333Mhz system bus (well, most of them at least).

Kewl, so...in theory if I bought a mobo now it should be able to support the 1333Mhz cpus coming next year..well, if the mobo can take it off course...

As long as your board can do 333FSB, yes :) Just about every 965/975 and 680i board does 333FSB at stock voltages. :)
