fusion 3... "easy install" broken?

Upgraded to Fusion 3 (yay, VIP Enterprise membership) yesterday. I rebuilt my Windows 7 Encoder VM on the new version of Fusion, today. There was a feature called "Easy Install" that asked for the following:

User Account Name
Password
Confirm Password
Windows Key

I entered all of the information into the Wizard. However, during OS installation, I was still asked for all of this, again (like it normally would).

What gives?
 
heh, forgot i posted this. thanks for the heads up guys. was it listed in the known issues release notes?
 
I read somewhere if you define it as a vista machine instead of 7 it will work.

I've never used fusion, not sure if it works the same as Workstation and ESX,
