only outrun by 1080 and txp, very nice,
amd could rerelease this on 14nm with 8gb, sell it for ~260$ and make a lot of fanboys happy

Battlefield 1 PC graphics benchmark review

sounds easy cause it is,
why you crying about money?, amd has been losing money for years,
and that's cause they haven't been making anything good,

So you think the solution to AMD's problem is releasing a card that costs as much as their current midrange with high end performance and HBM?

That's how you kill two birds with one stone; Polaris and Vega

Looks like another game I can play on the Nano at 4K using FreeSync. Hate to say it but the 1070 has been idle for a couple of weeks now, keep using the Nano :p

Sure if polaris and Vega suck, can't outperform furyx

Wait, what? What does the fury X have to do with anything? It's not like they can 'port it' to 14nm, it would have to be redesigned...

I said they should have released 14nm furyx respin instead of 480, whatever would have to be changed, they can do it, that's what they do, redesign stuff

Why would they not release Vega and call it a day? Why would they make a high performance part at 250$. It's not like AMD is in the business of bleeding money lol. Why use HBM on a cheap part?

There's Polaris and there will be Vega, I'm sure they'd have already released the latter if they could.

What makes you think a 14nm Fury X would cost 250

Troll or fool, take your pick.

A little more serious, I could see AMD releasing a Fury X at $250.

If it wanted to kill itself and shit on Nvidia at the same time.

cause they haven't finished it

why not? that's what competition is about,
doesn't have to be $250, could be $300?
would be good competition for 1070,

Why use HBM on a cheap part?
why use HBM at all? gtx1080 is doing fine without it,

What makes you think a 14nm Fury X would cost 250
what makes you think it would cost more?, they already have the design, they don't need to recoup any r&d,
and i can imagine the retail fury sells have been abysmal in the last few months

Game plays amazingly well on my 7970m. Which is no 7970. 1080p medium settings dx12

Wow, crickets from the usual people on this.

4Gb of ram doing that, every other card it's fighting with has 2gb more at minimum. Thought HBM has no real world advantage? In DX11 to boot.

HBM is good, but really not needed until heavy hitting 4k games come out, for everything else its a unnecessary cost

My FuryX chews through this game at 3440*1440. Not even maxing out the VRAM either.
