only outrun by 1080 and txp, very nice,
amd could rerelease this on 14nm with 8gb, sell it for ~260$ and make a lot of fanboys happy

sounds easy cause it is,
why you crying about money?, amd has been losing money for years,
and that's cause they haven't been making anything good,
Sure if polaris and Vega suck, can't outperform furyxSo you think the solution to AMD's problem is releasing a card that costs as much as their current midrange with high end performance and HBM?
That's how you kill two birds with one stone; Polaris and Vega
They should have released that instead of the 480 which is laughable.Sure if polaris and Vega suck, can't outperform furyx

I said they should have released 14nm furyx respin instead of 480, whatever would have to be changed, they can do it, that's what they do, redesign stuffWait, what? What does the fury X have to do with anything? It's not like they can 'port it' to 14nm, it would have to be redesigned...

Why would they not release Vega and call it a day? Why would they make a high performance part at 250$. It's not like AMD is in the business of bleeding money lol. Why use HBM on a cheap part?
There's Polaris and there will be Vega, I'm sure they'd have already released the latter if they could.
What makes you think a 14nm Fury X would cost 250
cause they haven't finished itWhy would they not release Vega and call it a day?
why not? that's what competition is about,Why would they make a high performance part at 250$.
why use HBM at all? gtx1080 is doing fine without it,Why use HBM on a cheap part?
what makes you think it would cost more?, they already have the design, they don't need to recoup any r&d,What makes you think a 14nm Fury X would cost 250
