Funny Xbox One Trolling

What i love is how many STUPID people play the xbox 1. how many people do NOT know that xbox sign out does...clearly no one reads the manual.....

Yep. At least half sounded between the ages of 10-12. Not only do I really not like multiplayer in the first place, but listening to a bunch of pre-pube boys try to trash talk is not something I care to deal with.

And what the fuck is up with parents who would let their pre-teens play that game anyway?

Because they are shitty parents who don't care that their children are playing an adult game.

Given the average level of intelligence of most people when it comes to technology, I don't see how this is a surprise. This isn't something limited to the Xb1 or even consoles for that matter.

Also it is easily fixed by not enabling stupid voice shit. No kinect, no problems.

So any girl laughing is automatically a sexy girl laugh?
Interesting way to go there, there was one girl, she laughed, and the author of this piece thought it was sexy so we jump to the conclusion that he thinks any girl laughing is a sexy girl laugh?

I mean all things considered the more hushed tone of her voice was more soothing than all the kiddies, even the other adult males in the game, it's like everyone has the mic right next to their lips.

While I don't have an Xbox 1 I can say that from the Atari 2600 and every console I've owned since then I've never read the manual. Power goes in one hole, controllers in another, video out of some sort, games go in that slot, we're good to go.

Indeed. And her reaction was the best one there. She found it funny and clever. And since it WAS both funny and clever (at least to me anyway), she laughed it off and didn't go off on a kiddy rage moment.

But how many consoles have had voice recognition and it is not like it was a hidden feature of the console....

People reading manuals, that's how to find out there are great little hidden features or shortcuts why would anyone want to do that? It's like giving up, reading a "how to use" I ain't no stupid fool psh imma just blindly say i did everything right and blame the product not my ignorance.

wow... was almost everyone playing that game 10 years old?

No kidding. There were a lot of prepubescent voices in that video. I wonder if they are still skillful at all? Or if they are the type that move really slowly b/c they can't process how to move fast enough and just get owned over and over again.

That was the first thing I thought got that looks low res and with shitty textures. Granted it may just be the video conversion that youtube does when uploading but i'm not entirely sure.

I'm glad to see two other people commenting on this. The graphics looked soooo terrible, washed out, low res, etc. Even in 720p set on youtube, I still thought I was watching a 480p or less stream connected with composite cables.

Exactly.
We'd rather suffer through a 3 hour tutorial that has become so common in our games than read a f$cking manual.
Hell I remember reading manuals out the wazoo.
Some of the games we played came with their own novels as manuals.

I'm a little shocked the Kinect doesn't have some kind of retina scanner or something that can verify the age of these brats.

Some of the stuff I heard on Gears multiplayer.... cannot be unheard. Pre-pubes yelling at me calling me all manner of shit that they probably don't even know what half of it means.

Rooster Teeth does podcasts where someone will accidentally say the phrase "Xbox off" and people using their Xbox to listen to the podcast lose the feed.

Great technology.

You're full of shit, audio that the system outputs is filtered out when the kinect listens to a room, it's why in the installation process of the kinect it has to play music a bit on the speakers.

Kinect does an okay job in filtering out other people talking too just shouting "xbox off" doesn't work unless it comes from the relatively same direction as the person in control of the xbox. That being said just running up behind the person and saying "xbox off" will do it most of the time.

Alulsious is partly correct, during RT podcast people have been playing on their xbox while watching the podcast and they will say xbox turn off or something else and people's xbox's will hear it and will come up with then turn off screen. They don't actually lose the feed though as their xbox would still be on, it would just ask them to confirm that they want to turn it off. That said, I am not sure how many actually listen to it from the xbox and have it pick it up vs using a different source.

I do know streaming it from my laptop next to me while on the xbox one playing a game or something that I have had mine hear them say stuff.

Now they did say that people watching the Xbox One announce thing that Microsoft did prelaunch from a Xbox 360 with kinnect (so last gen) that people said that their system heard the xbox go home from the video and would drop them from the stream and go back to their home screen.

Some of those kids sounded like...well way too young to be playing online. Guess I'm getting old...
