oh you lucky SOB!! cant wait to see the end result. The 28th cannot get here quick enough so I can grab a pair of 56s.
 
Holy shit batman! That is kickass. I'm jealous of the fun y'all be havin.
 
One of them is for video crunching with the freelance work I do. The ability to transform the driver from pro to gaming is really snazzy for the Adobe stuff Second card will be for hot standby to see if any apps will work with it. I might return it, but I like the 16GB of ram in it. My side job has been good these last few months and was able to do one massive upgrade for an overkill dream machine. I believe I can hook up a second monitor to the second card and run a secondary program such as Photoshop on one monitor and Premier and After Effect on the other.

Plugged the machine in and powered it on. Found my old m.2 drive immediately and booted directly into Windows 10. I launched it into safe mode and restored the drive to default condition. Installed all the Asus and AMD software. System is very snappy it seems. I'm trying to figure out how to get into game mode in the graphics driver. I installed the most recent 17.8.2 beta on the and support site.
 
when youre on the home page of crimson control there should be a button in the bottom left.
 
Now having an issue where both cards are installed and not even going to post...

But yet when I uninstall one card the machine works perfectly. Both cards work perfectly separate as well

Turned out that the 17.8.2 driver only contains the pro graphics portion, had to revert to the 17.6 and sure as shit it was where you described. Thanks.

What PSU are you using. If that's good maybe a bios update for the motherboard. So jealous, that's a beastly setup.

I usually keep my case really tidy, but that PSU is a magnet for that shit. It was wiped out and cleaned up after I put everything back in.

1500W Enermax PSU (3 years old)

Did just that this morning. There was a bios update that has since come out when the boards were released. I plugged in the card after the update and it now works. Thx for reminding me!!!
 
So now that I have Crossfire working and can see both cards it seems as though the machine "lags" for example when I move the mouse in a circle on the screen, the pointer on the screen seems to have a 1/2 second delay then it speeds back up to normal. Gremlins...

Weird. If you disable crossfire does the lagginess go away?
 
So I rebooted the system with both crossfire off and on. Still lagging with the mouse. I also disabled upls as well...no go. I think I am going to try a driver reinstall for everything.

Hmm no clue, but try the driver reinstall, and make sure you use DDU.
 
Still doing it. Did a full/clean uninstall of both the AMD Chipset drivers and the Radeon drivers and upon reboot, still getting the mouse lag with the drivers uninstalled.

A melon scratcher.....
 
Must be the card itself, even proximity to your system is causing issues, best if you just mail it on to me...
 
UPDATE: So I completely reinstalled Windows 10 Enterprise and the mouse hitching went away, crossfire is working perfectly. I won't have much of a chance to run anything this week because I am at the each for a weeks woreth of vacation before Teachers are due back to work next week before the start of the new school year. The first WHQL drivers for the VegaFE should be out sometime in September based off the 17.7.2 branch.
