Full Tower Case Recommendation

I am in the market to replace my mid-tower Enermax. I would like a full tower, and should have room for 5 hard disks and 2 optical drives. My current case, is cramped and I just have no more room to add more fans and the like. I would like to add an 8800 GTS or GTX later so I would like room for those cards.

No window is a preference, a grill or something is fine. Any recommendations?

The only cases, I could come up with are:

The P182 (More of a mid tower, and I am worried about my Enermax Liberty cables reaching the top of the Asus P5W DH)

The Silverstone Temjin TJ-05 (nice case but I cannot find a place that sells the non-windowed, thermal control version)

Silverstone Temjin TJ-09 (nice but no cover for the drive bays)

Thermaltake Armor Extreme (front runner so far) VA8004BNS is the one I was looking at.
 
Try looking at the lianli g70 it is huge and very room well ventilated. i have 12 internal harddrives in it and it still looks spacious.
 
I Have the Thermaltake Armour (not extreme though) and I think it is great.

Heaps of room and it looks wicked

Only one complaint, It is a very Heavy Case once you fill it up

That of course is fine if you dont move it :)
 
Coolermaster Stacker. Absolutly @#$%ing Huge inside and Lots of available Drive bays. I am going to start working on a mod in one using a Hardwarelabs GTX480 Radiator. Very similer to the armor as far as size and drive bay layout, but it does not have those silly side flaps at the front.

This is a 3d model of the case I am working on to rought check locations of items in my mod. Flipping the motherboard tray over can only be done on the Stacter STC-01, also takes 2 power supplys. There is also a Stacker 810 that has 2 120mm fans at the top back for exhaust and takes only one power supply.

If you go with the P182/P180/etc all you need is a $15 set of cable extensions, at worst, so it's not that big a deal. Mine are coming in the mail right now -- an 8pin extension, anyway -- and I managed to get it working in the mean time by flipping my PSU upside-down.

By cover, I mean something that covers up the external faces of the drives. Eg. The P180/182 has a door that covers the external face.

I'll take a look at the Lian Li's, some of them look promising.
 
i would go a p180/p182 there a very nice case well built and quite with a good cooling system.
 
Well, I see you don't care to much for a window on the side type of enclosure but I saw this one the other day looking around myself for a case for my next build and thought you might like some more alternatives.

It seems to have some nice specs on it like all the cooling and so on, but I would love to see more people voice opinions who actually own it. I don't know about their reputation when it comes to cases other than they like to make they flashy. I also like that antec p series too, pretty slick if you ask me along with that coolermaster stacker enclosure.

I used the case you posted in my first build. Looks better in person than in the pics.

It keeps my system nice and cool. My CPU runs idle at around 38-40 degrees Celsius and my System temp is around 32 degrees idle. My GPU runs around 48 degrees idle, but I bought an overclocked card, so it's going to run hotter than normal anyway.

It has tons of room for HDDs and Optical drives. 5 spaces for Optical and around 6 for HDDs. Only problem is the area where you put the HDDs and the Optical drives on the inside can't be taken out, unless I'm missing something, and I had a little trouble plugging my DVD burner, HDDs and Floppy drive into my Mobo. But that wouldn't turn me off from buying another one for a new build. It's a great case.
 
My vote goes with the CM Stacker. The Masstige is similar, also nice but smaller and not as good quality. You may prefer the internal layout of the Masstige though, so I suggest you check out pics of the insides of both cases.
 
Well I got some bad news for myself, I emailed Silverstone to see if I could order direct to get a Temjin TJ-05 (thermal module, no window). The rep told me they no longer manufacture it, and that the window version is all they have now. So there goes that.

I took a look at the Lian Li's they are nice, but pricey. The Stacker is an option, but I may just go with a P182 and buy some extenders. I am going to check out the Thermaltake Armor Extreme and Stacker tomorrow at a local PC shop and compare. The Aerocool ones have nice features, but I just don't like the look too much. Thanks for all the input.
