Fujitsu or white box

My favorite retailer has the FUJITSU PRIMERGY TX100 S3P E3-1220V2 with 2x4GB ECC RAM and 2X500GB HDDs for ~$600USD.

For the same price however I can build a white box with the following specs:
Intel Xeon E3-1230v2 (with Hyper-Threading!)
32GB RAM (non-ECC)
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
CHIEFTEC IARENA 350W ATX
ANTEC KUHLER H2O 620
Fractal Design Core 1000
Intel PRO 1000 GT

What do you think? Is it really worth getting the Fujitsu eventhough it has a slower CPU, less RAM and 2 HDDs that I won't need? ECC RAM is kind of pricey here in Sweden.

I'm really torn between the options. I will use it for learning ESXi and it will be used together with a NAS that I have build on a Intel Pentium G620. There will be a couple of VMs running so if I get the Fujitsu I need to put another $100 on RAM.

Thanks

If you need the warranty I'd go with Futjistu

If you building a VM box stick a quad card in it.

I won't need the warranty as it's only for my personal use I want it to be quiet and have low power comsumption.

The server will run diskless or with one SSD, the VMDKs will be on a NAS. What do you mean with quad card?

Quad port nic. The more nics the better especially if you running a NAS or a SAN.

A guy is selling a Intel PRO/1000 GT Quad Port Server Adapter on Tradera (like eBay).

The card is PCI-X 133Mhz, will it work in the normal PCI slot?

I may have replied too soon ....
The better question may be "do you want to use a PCI-x card in a PCI slot?"

See the following:
http://www.intel.com/support/network/adapter/1000mtquad/sb/cs-009537.htm

"The Intel® PRO/1000 MT Quad Port Gigabit Adapter and the Intel® PRO/1000 GT Quad Port Gigabit Adapter are designed to work in the following slot types:

PCI-X 133 MHz
PCI-X 100 MHz
PCI-X 66 MHz
PCI 64-bit 66 MHz
PCI 64-bit 33 MHz
PCI 32-bit 33 MHz (3.3 volt slots only)
For performance reasons, we recommend always running this adapter in PCI-X slots at the fastest available speed."

So in a non-PCI-x slot, if you get it to fit/work, you are limited to max 66MHz
