fuji s5000 - $219 @ sears

The S7000's image quality leaves a bit to be desired. I find the S5000 to be a bit crisper at the same resolution. They are both great cameras though... I own the S5000 and would definitely recommend it.... especially at this price!!
 
I have received my camera and couldnt be more happy. You cant find this camera for less then $350 at a reputable online vendor. The only draw back is the use of xd cards, but at this price point it's easy to offset the cost of the memory.
 
The S7000 lets you also use compact flash cards. Which is a really nice option.
 
Oh man I wish I didn't see this post. I have a S3000 and am craving more zoom and more features. The S5000 is being replaced by a 4MP version called the S5100 thus the sears clearance. Put my S3000 up forsale and hopefully it will sell so I can grab this S5000. Nice find.

The ability to use CF with the S7000 is the ONE thing I wish the s5000 had...

Keep an eye out on BestBuy and the like for xD cards. They just had 128mb cards for 29.99 plus a $10 rebate... I got 2 of them (have 3 now heh)
