i'm having difficulty deleting a directory off my comcast ftp space.

doesn't matter if i use an ftp client like WS_FTP, windows explorer or throug the console, i get some sort of 550 error, about the folder being invalid, or a forbidden filename. i have tried different remove and delete and recursive remove commands and they all feed me back a 550 error.

there are several files that were uploaded years ago, which are no longer needed which have spaces in their manes. ex: "img_1503 inverse.jpg" i can not do anything with these files, be it rename, move, delete, download, but yet the show up perfectly on the webpages they are displayed on...

is there any command to force delete thes files or folder?

the only option i have is to call up comcast and deal with their outsourceing and try to get them to deletel it...

i was on their outsourced tech support and the guy was clueless... that was besides the point i could barely understand a word he was saying... or he was actually helping and i couldn't understand him through is Lead-thick accent.

going to try calling back later...
