OK, here's what I have:

2.4C Pentium 4 800MHz FSB w/HT

This CPU has been running in my rig for the past 8 months at 3.2 GHz with standard cooling on my Abit IS7. You rresults may vary depending on your motherboard, but with a good mobo, this chip will OC quite well.

I'm looking to trade this for a P4 in the 1.4 GHz range plus some cash. I really don't care what type of P4 it is, as long as its socket 478. Drop a line.

I have a retail 2.0a I would like to trade you for your 2.4c. How much cash would I need to include to swing the deal? I also have some mobile P4 1.7's and Mobile Celeron 1.5's (these run at 2.55 on most good overclocking MOBO's).

PM me back with your interests.

Jon...

Hmm, i was looking for something maybe a little lower clocked than a 2.0 so i could get more cash... but if someone else doesnt respond in a day or two, we'll discuss a fair price

The CPU doesn't need to be a good OC'er or anything. Just a socket 478 Pentium 4, anykind of Northwood, doesn't matter, I'm looking to step down and get some money because I'm really poor right now!

I have a 1.6a also pm me and let me know what kinda cash trade off your looking for.

to be honest guys, I'm looking for a CPU trade where I can get about $100 or so. I'll throw in a Thermaltake Volcano for socket 478 if you include the stock Intel cooler. I'll even take a higher clocked Celeron if it means more cash. I need money!!!

sorry too rich for my blood (not thread crapping I can get stuff off intels reseller program :( )

maybe, but i would need to have a replacement CPU lined up first, because i cant go for more than a day w/o my PC or else I'll fall behhind in my schoolwork...

i got a 1.5ghz p4 i would trade it plus how much u want in cash?

tell me what you think is a fair price.. i can't find a retail price for a 1.5GHz P4 anywhere online, but the 2.4C seems to be going for about $166.00 or so, get back to me

I have a 1.5 socket 478 chip I'd be willing to trade + $65.

If my new chip comes tomorrow I can throw you a 1.7 celeron (478) so you can sell off your 2.4 C for money.

thanks to all of you who have responded, but morphes conatacted me first so i'm gonna go with him, thanks again, check the thread in case it falls through
