I'm really interested in purchasing a dell custom laptop, and it comes stock with just a Pentium Dual Core 1.73GHZ/533FSB/1mbcache....I wanna upgrade to the 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, but there are two options: For $100 I can upgrade to the 2.0GHz core 2 duo / 667MHz FSB / 2mb cache and for $150 I can upgrade to 2.0GHz core 2 duo / 800MHz FSB / 2mb cache. Is it worth 50 bucks for that increase in FSB?

Although I can't answer your question (faster FSB will increase speed a little, but unsure if significant enough), but the 800MHz version is actually on a different Centrino platform, the newer Santa Rosa. This will presumably be on a 965 chipset, and offers features such as turning off one core and overclocking the other for a dynamic speed boost when running single-threaded apps. I'm not sure whether that's significant either though.

I would guess no. From those specs, you're comparing the T5750 and the T7250, which are both 65nm architecture. The difference in performance will most likely not be noticeable.
