I just finished toying around with raising multiplier to figure out what my 'max' CPU speed is while leaving FSB parked at 200MHz, the result, 200X12=rock stable, 200X13=somewhat stable... 12.5 seems to be missing??? But that's not the problem.
After doing that, I dropped multiplier back down to 10 and tried to bump FSB, I tried to boot into windows at 210X10, no go. It freezes while loading. So I figure 'no problem...RAM issue, better check timings' I check the BIOS, instead of 6-2-2-2 at CAS2, it went to 7-3-3-3 at cas 3??? I've heard that BH-5 doesn't like loose timings and cranked them back down and tried again. Same thing, dropped FSB to 205, same thing. dropped FSB back to 200, no problem. Booted right way.
Really odd, a pair of 512MB sticks of KHX3200 should be good for quite a bit higher. So I give memtest a run, 3 passes with no errors. So it doesn't appear to be a RAM issue here. Does anybody have an idea of what it might be?
Specs:
XP-M 2500+ @210X10, 1.9V (leftover from my run at 2.7 which wasn't stable even with 2.0V, though 200X13 was stable at 1.9V)
2X512MB KHX3200 @ 6-2-2-2, CAS 2, 3.0Vdimm
Lanparty B @1.7Vchipset, unknown BIOS, POST screen shows 10/15/2003 in lower left corner.
Radeon 9800 np flashed with modified pro bios, @ 328/290, 1.5Vagp. Stable up to 414/327
onboard sound and lan
seagate 80GB hdd.

Floppy disk drive (For memtest!)
SP-97 on the proc/w NEO backplate
Any ideas as to what may be causing this absolutely crazy behaviour when I bump FSB?
