iam trying to get a nasty bottleneck out of my system that is causing hitching in my games.

the problem is i dont know how :|

iam trying to get my cpu and ram in a 1:1 ratio. right now according to cpu-z it it cpu/10. witch i assum means the cpu is taking priority over my ram.

i have a athlon 64 4800 x2 currently running at default speed 2.4 ghz
my ram is ddr 4000 500mhz it too is running at default timings and frequency. although it has been dropped to 240mhz per stick instead of 250mhz becuase of my cpu.

how can i get a 1:1

how do i change my multiplier on this board?

i need fairly specific instructions i dont overclock. iam just trying to solve an performance issue iam haveing

We're not fortunetellers, what board are you talking about?

whoops i thought i put it in my first post.

it a asus a8n32 sli.

i really just need to be walked through the steps. i understand the logic behind the different settings and what the effect, i have just never done this before.

i can read until i pass out but i cant learn that way. so far every attempt i have tried has resulted in a non posting computer. i know iam doing it wrong
