if CPU's bus frequency is 800Mhz stock and the fsb/ram ratio is 1:1, does that mean the ram is also running at 800Mhz?

thank for the reply

no because the intel CPU's are quad pumped. Therefore the FSB would be 200 as 200x4 = 800.

Windows detects a 1:1 mem ratio as 1:2 so therefore the ram would be running at 400mhz half it's rated speed. To get to 800mhz the ratio would need to be 1:4 or w/e the hell it is on different mobo's.
