Everything you need to get you started.. System is fully function, seal has been broken because I took it apart to clean out the system when I bought it from my friend.. Has never had a RROD, never refurbed.. Perfectly working unit.. Good just in time for the holidays, cheapest 360 your gonna find, especially one with games.. Ghost recon has been opened but never played, sonic was played like 4 times..

If you REALLY thing you cant visualize this stuff, ill snap some pictures.. but Im in the middle of moving and would rather not dig out my camera if I dont have to..
 
Is it banned from XBL? Has it ever been modded? I'm wondering because a banwave just hit this week

You will need to get a HDD/MEm card, comes with original box, and this is one of the original core systems with Component/composite only
 
ok, so i unboxed it to download the new update, and dammit.. they arent rolling it out fast enough.. I did however also realise that im a dumbass and ive been playing this thing on 480i because I could never get it to go to 1080p.. NO ONE TOLD ME THERE WAS A SWITCH ON THE CABLE!!


anyhoo.. for the lucky bastard that nabs this for 130$ will get it pre setup for 1080p

My friend does. :D Opened his 360 a while back to blow out the dust...a few months later he got the RRoD and Microsoft wouldn't cover it under warranty because it had been opened (but nothing had been tampered with/modded/etc.).

And yeah, I also missed the switch on the cable when I got my first 360. I use HDMI now though, so nothing to worry about except making sure it's set to 1080p in the dashboard.

Bump for a cheap 360!
 
1080p is only supported if the TV can support that resolution, which too many TVs don't. I checked my manual and like most tv's it'll only do 480i/p, 720p, 1080i.

130$ or 115$ w/o games.... Is HDMI REALLY that important to people?
So far, thats the only deciding factor.. Component still looks awesome, and optical audio is sweet with surround..
 
HDMI is NOT important to me. However the DVD drive is.

Let me know and there is a 2/3 chance I'll buy it.

Seriously guys.. This system is only costing you 100$ and about 15$ shipping w/o games.. How is this not gone yet?? I need the cash ASAP, so someone PLEASE take this off my hands..

If you want more explaination as to why I took it apart when I got it, here it is.. As I said before, I took it apart to clean it out, but also, I was a big modder of original xbox's and this was my first 360 so I wanted to scope out the insides to see what made it tick.. But I have not tampered with anything, not even softmodding.
 
Just a theory, but I think the problem you have selling this thing is that its an older model, which tends to RROD much more often, and that you broke the seal. If the seal wasn't broken, I would be all over this. You should try Ebay or craiglist, might get much more.
 
RRoD is an overheating issue.. Get a cooler and your all good.. ive only ever used this unit with one and never had a problem..

and just for people to know, I used it to DL the new dashboard update and the update is great.. Watching Tripping the Rift right now with the Netflix on demand.. its greatness.. 100$ for a working unit is not unreasonable, yes it may require a bit more care, but your getting it dirt cheap
