I made the same mistake as well. When is a lower model number the better one?

he is right, however if you would like to sell your pvr-250 i would be intrested (i already have one and trying to do dual tuners). Its just a more recent version which has a few more tweaks in the chip that seem to make it more efficent than the older 250. There marketing was in pooper

I was aware the PVR-150 is better - i just felt bad about selling a gift from a friend. Now you guys have got me wondering what I should do!

Keep both, be able to record one show while watching another or record two shows while you game, etc.

I fully encourage people to build HTPCs.

I would really love to keep both. However, I am running this in Antec Aria box and don't have room with my Soundcard/videocard/PVR - that takes up all 4 slots (double wide cooler on videocard)
