they aren't... fans always blow towards the side with the guard... you can easily see from his pics that the guards are facing outwards meaning he is sucking air from front to back pretty thoroughly... the zalman is also exhausting out the back as are the gtx's
 
plus just look at the blades. The concave side is the direction of airflow.

Does the 2407 have any dead pixels or other issues? I PMed you about this twice three weeks ago and you never got back to me about it. If there aren't any issues I'd be very interested in it.

Bump for a very nice system. Nice OC, but I think your pushing it with those temps...just my 2 cents ;)
