I have a question on Half Life 2. I registered it so I can play the game. Is the account transferrable ????

no, it's not. we went through all of those issues over on the halflife2.net forums when the game first came out. when you registered your key with your account, you locked that key to your account. the only way to 'tranfer' the game would be to transfer your entire steam account to the buyer.

Thanks for the info :) So, just to keep it on record I will provide the account info to the purchaser.

Not true. If you sell your copy of Half Life 2 and the buyer wants to play css they can contact steam and pay $10 and with a photo copy of the cd key that they have they can get the account reset. I've done it before.

Whoops. I didn't notice your post. I did check a few things in the middle of the week on HL2. It did mention about reseting the account. Thanks for the info.
