The laptop currently has 32GB of RAM and an additional 2.5" 1TB SSD purchased less than a year ago and I can leave them both in for an additional $150. The SSD is still under warranty from Samsung (it's the 840 model) for another few years. The RAM is maxed out and was purchased new from Newegg late last year. The wireless AC/Bluetooth 4.0 card was purchased new from Amazon around the same time. It originally came with wireless-N.
