HP Pavilion DV5210US :: $175 Shipped via USPS Priority with DC
Description: I received this laptop as a gift last October. I really enjoyed it up until the point that the LCD decided to give out. The image began washing out into a white color. In the first stages of the LCD problems, I was able to shift the screen a little and the image would return. So, this could be a connector issue, however, at this point I'm not so sure.
When the laptop is connected to an external monitor, it works perfectly. I've been using it on and off in this sort of manner. The DC adapter started to become a little warn, to the point I would have to fiddle it in the port to start charging the laptop. So, I went ahead and replaced the DC connector with a new one from radioshack (which BTW didn't have one in the appropriate color). I also taped up the plug a bit to fix some wear. You can see the repairs in the pics. Cosmetically, the laptop is essentially perfect.
The battery is in good condition. IT can hold about an 1:30 worth of charge.
The laptop will be shipped with no OS
Specs:
* Notebook PC with 15.4-inch screen and 1.8 GHz AMD Turion 64 ML-34 (1 MB L2 cache)
* 60 GB hard drive, 512 MB of RAM (2 GB max), multi-format DVD/CD burner with dual-layer support
* Two USB 2.0, one VGA, one S-Video, one ExpressCard/54, microphone, headphone
* 54-Mbps wireless LAN (802.11b/g) with HSM/Speedbooster support; 10/100 Ethernet; 56K (V.90) modem

Dell Latitude C400 :: $160 Shipped via USPS Priority with DC
Description: I bought this laptop a few weeks ago from a fellow forum member. I was planning to use it as a netbook, however, my plans changed when I received an Aspire one from a family member. This laptop has a brand new genuine Dell battery and also comes with it's docking station, dvd-rom drive + connector, and power brick. This laptp was upgraded by it's previous owner.
In the time I've used this laptop, it's run very nicely. Quiet and extremely portable. The PCMCIA slot has been a little jumpy with my wireless card, but other than that, everything's been great.
The laptop has a very small amount of cosmetic damage, most notably the chip it has in it's rear. Besides a few very small scratches, that's it.
The screen has a slight wobble to it which probably can be corrected. However, it shouldn't really interfere with usage.
Specs:
P3m Processor @ 1.2Ghz
768MB Ram
80gb HD
DVD Drive (external)
The laptop will be shipped with no OS
