I take no credit for this, I just wanted to post it here where the suggestion can be heard.

I think this is a good idea. To me, it does not make sense why n00bs should not be able to reply in the forum, but they CAN read it. Most of the dealings in FS/FT take place through PM's anyway. What do the higher beings think?
