• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I was wondering if there would be a wa to implement some kind of a pre-screening into the FS/FT forum. What I mean is that there are a ton of members that just show up and start there but DON'T read the rules. I am not meaning about post count, length of time, ect. just the fact that they have to look at and atleast skim over the rules page and maybe check a box at the bottom saying they agree er sumthin. With all of the PS3 and Wii paople on there.... they are just out for blood money and this is a good place to get it since there are really no reqiurements to get in the FS/FT. Making the rules a Sticky or Announcement seems to be of no help.

Just my .02c

the moderation team do a great job of busting ass, its still always buyer beware, and anyone who doesnt promptly read the rules and slips up, gets a swift boot in the ass from them :) And as always, Kyle says it will take teams of lawyers to get any personal info for members from him, UNLESS they screw up in FS/FT, in which case, hell do whatever he pleases. works quite well from what i have seen :) Dont buy unless you see Heat/Ebay feedback is another good tip, just DONT thread crap.

Everyone who registers a new account on the forum has to denote that they have read the rules. Whether or not they do is up to them, but we enforce the rules assuming they did and have no excuse. With any new major release of hardware we get an influx of new traders who ignore the rules, they usually don't stay long. We have an excellect staff of Moderators in the FS/T forums who do as much as they can, but if you see a rules infraction, feel free to use the thread report button to get the attention of a Mod or Admin. The problem is addressed within minutes. At this time we have no plans for screening any member to use the FS/T forum.....hopefully with the implimentation of a vBull upgrade shortly, we will have a few more tools to deal with problems in any forum.

what would stop them from skipping a Pre-Post rule review?

Nothing would stop them but it would have intentionally showed them w/o them having to go and read it for themselves. Which obviously very few seem to do anyway...
