Best way is for him to redeem on a new amdrewards account and then sell the account to the person. Otherwise code is even tied to type of processor (to my knowledge) that is a 5900x code might not work on a 5950x code. Plus it is tied to a region.

When I tried to redeem a 5900x code on a 5600x processor it didn’t work. Once I threw in the processor it confirmed the reward but when the final code arrived I had to use NA VPN to unlock it as it wouldn’t unlock for my region.
