Selling as a whole. Will not part unless I have buyers for the screen and the entire carputer itself. Selling because I was going to put this in my Civic, but ended up getting a 370z and don't want to butcher the nice center console.

Price is $400 shipped to Con-USA, FIRM.
This stuff was never installed in a vehicle, just put together and tested.

Let's start with the basics:

Enclosure: M350 Mini-ITX case : http://www.mini-box.com/M350-universal-mini-itx-enclosure

Power Supply: M3-ATX 125w 20pin ATX, 6-24V wide input range: http://www.mini-box.com/M3-ATX-DC-DC-ATX-Automotive-Computer-car-PC-Power-Supply?sc=8&category=981

Motherboard/CPU/RAM: Zotac 8200-ITX wifi w/AMD x2 BE 2400 with Silverstone low profile HS/F, 2GB RAM (2x1GB)

SSD: 32GB OCZ Agility

OS: I'll leave Windows 7 on there for verification purposes.

Screen: 7" Lilliput 669GL w/HDMI from bybyte.com. Custom fitted to double DIN brackets for easy installation into any double-DIN dash kit: http://www.bybyte.com/doubedin_lcd.htm (it's at the bottom). I chose this screen because it has HDMI, which is purely digital. With VGA, you may get interference since VGA is analog. I've learned to steer away from VGA as it causes lines on the screen due to interference. I have the box, remote, and everything else that came with it.

Specifics: The power for the LCD screen is spliced into the 12v wire from the M3-ATX power supply. This is a common practice which ensures that the LCD will receive regulated 12v power. That's what the wire sticking out the back of the carputer is for - to power the LCD screen. Without splicing it into the regulated power supply and going straight to a 12v source in your car, the LCD will be subject to low voltages during crank and higher voltages (14.4v) while the car is running.

I used heat shrink to secure the connections and even wired in the plug in the back of the case to the power supply so that you can use a laptop power supply for testing.

The thingy coming out the back is the power plug for the LCD screen. It has it's own power filter, but it doesn't hurt to give it regulated 12v power in the first place. I also will include a DVI -> HDMI adapter, which is what I tested with in the first pic.

TTT, major price drop to $400 shipped. The screen runs roughly $300 alone so someone please take this!
