Anyone interested in this little device?
It's basically a converter that can take standard Composite and S-Video + audio, and converts it into Firewire video. It can also take Firewire video and convert it back to S-Video / Composite, and it works on NTSC and PAL video formats. If you plug it in with a standard Firewire cable, it doesn't need a separate power supply, but if you're using a smaller pin (like the one on the front) then you do need the power supply.
I tested the device to capture video on an old computer and it worked just fine with Virtualdub, no drivers needed. But since my current computer makes adding a firewire port a pain due to lack of space, I decided to sell it off. And yes I'm aware that it's kinda... okay, very dirty on the bottom. But that's how I bought it.
I'm asking for $76 shipped Priority with insurance to anywhere in the US of A. I'm not taking trades at this time, sorry.
Thanks!
