I am offering for sale an Asus laptop in good condition (there are some scratches on the cover, but hardly noticeable). It was bought in June 2007 for school, so it's just over two years old now, but it was top of the line at the time, and it has been upgraded significantly over the last year or so.

Specs:

- Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 4MB cache
- 4GB dual channel memory (3GB recognizable)
- 320GB hard drive (this is a brand new drive)
- Geforce 7700 512MB graphics (can play anything pre-crysis at medium to high settings)
- 14" screen, 1440*900 resolution
- Intel PRO 3945 Wireless 802.11a/b/g
- Internal Bluetooth
- Dual Layer DVD/CD Burner - Built in mic for online skype chatting (no webcam, sorry!)
- 5-in-1 Multimedia Card Reader and *FIVE* USB ports leaving lots of room for peripherals.

The laptop only weighs just over 5lbs so it's quite portable for its gaming capacity and would be great to carry to and from class.

The keyboard will be replaced with a brand new one upon sale.

Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit will be installed by default, but I can load it with the 32bit version or Windows XP Professional upon request (both legal copies).

Also included is a soft carrying case. It's a pretty nice case with pockets to hold accessories as well as the laptop itself.

$500 CAD is the lowest I'm going. May pay for shipping at that price if it's not too much and you ask nicely :)

its a great price for $500... not sure why youre having a hard time selling it...

Man, if I hadn't bought a Dell XPS m1530 I would have jumped on this already at $500.

i sold mine back in april (with 200GB 7200rpm drive) for US$490 shipped [with 3GB RAM]. How did you install 4GB? I thought one stick was soldered in and it was only a 1GB stick...or am I confusing that with a diferrent lappie i sold? I could very well be...

sweet laptop.. I remember this was one of the first mainstream 14" notebooks available with a beefier than average GPU in it.. everything else at that time had nothing greater than a Go 7400 or an X1400 mobile chip...

If I could justify it I'd be all over it, but alas I cannot :(

None of the sticks are soldered. I just installed 2x2GB sticks. Alas it only recognizes 3, but it does contain 4. Didn't have it in the post originally.. updated now.
