This computer is almost brand new. My parents bought it for me for $3,000 for high school graduation in June 2006. I used it for my freshman year of college, then decided that I'd rather have a desktop computer than this notebook.

I'll be truly honest with you, if you plan on carrying around your notebook a lot, this is probably not the notebook for you. It's pretty thick, and it weighs about 12lbs. But if you plan on using it primarily as a desktop replacement and only carry it around occasionally, it's a great system.

I can run most games on this on or nearly on their highest settings. Oblivion, Battlefield 2, Battle for Middle Earth II, and Half-Life 2 all run great on it. I've never had any problems with it what-so-ever, it's a very solid system. It's also highly upgradeable, with room for an additional hard drive, two more sticks of RAM, a TV-tuner, and upgradable graphics card.

It's sitting in my room at home, and I'm 150 miles away at school. Next time I get home, I can get pics of it. But like I said, it's practically new, so if you've ever seen an Area-51 m7700 before, it looks just like that.

Asking Price: $1,500

Payment is to be made through Paypal only. That way both the buyer and myself are fully protected. Shipping will likely be in the area of $40 with insurance, I think, depending on where you live. The notebook will come in the original packaging that it came to me from Alienware in.

Do not ask me "What's the lowest price you'll sell it for?" Make me an offer, and we'll work from there.

I have ~80 positive feedback on eBay under JimShorts72287.

Like I said, it cost $3,000 about 15 months ago. I need to try to get some of this money back to help payoff the $2,000 desktop I already built, so I'm not looking for trades.

Sorta old pic and not very good pic, but this is it:
