how much cooling do these need? Do you think I would need a dedicated GPU cooler. or could you get by with a chipset cooler + thermal adesive?

I don't know if you could use a chipset cooler I would suggest a dedicated Cooler
 
looks like an evercool vc-re would cool it :)
but dont try, as i had an xfx 8600 2hole card, and the evercool vc-re wasnt long enough ;)
