Today I have a Newisis NDS-8250 NAS/SAN Server appliance for sale
Some specs:
Intel S5000PAL Server motherboard with dual sockets, dual gigabit NICs and separate management network
Intel Xeon E5345 Quad Core @2.33Ghz
14GB of RAM (6x 2GB, 2x1GB)
LSI SAS3442E-R (1068e chipset) w/ x4 Internal SFF-8484 / x4 external SFF-8470 connectors
1x Western Digital 150GB 10,000RPM Raptor Hard Drive
Newisis NDS-8250 Chassis which is equipped with:
Dual Redundant Hotswappable 580W power supplies
SAS expander hooked up to internal SFF-8484 connected to:
12 Hotswappable 3.5 3GB/s SATA/SAS bays with individual HDD operational and status activity lights
Ability to mount dual 2.5" internal hard drives
This server runs ESXi 4.1/5 beautifully out of the box with no modifications required and full support for the onboard NICs and drives.
Additionally, I have used this server with OpenIndiana and Nexenta coupled with Napp it, which has 100% full hardware support allowing for the creation of an ideal ZFS-based SAN/NAS storage appliance. Any questions please feel free to send me a message.
I'm looking for SOLD OBO in the continental U.S. Local pickup in the Virginia (22030) area is preferable. I have 100% eBay and Heatware feedback so buy with confidence.
