Fry's Electronics in Downers Grove, IL

I know people there. But I did not know a Fry's was going in.
So I have no helpful info to add.
 
When they do open, can someone tell them to put one in Philly, please?

And here in Clearwater/Tampa/Saint Petersburg frigging anywhere close! PLEASE!
 
Please petition for one to open in Massachusetts, preferably the Boston or Braintree area or somewhere close. Going out to Microcenter is a pain.
 
At least you guys have one in your state. The closest thing we have in Iowa is RadioShack and Best Buy on the same block. :(
 
There is a sign visible from I-355 that says "Now Open" :D . I am going to verify that today at lunch unless I get called away to a client site.

I was hoping it was somewhere reasonable close to STL.
Wrong end of the state.

Besides being "all thats evil".
1. Resell returned product and don't always mark as refurbished
2. Return lines eat arse
3. Still over priced when compared to online
4. Very rude staff
5. nobody knows the product if you do have a question
6. not enough help
7. employees are trained to con customers
I had 2 friends that worked in the sacramento, Ca store and damn they have crazy stories to tell.
I could list a few more things but I'm actally in court with them this up coming month.

I've heard horror stories about Fry's (though I can't say for myself if they're true or not). Some locals eh? The Tiger Direct outlet in Orland Park is supposed to open soon (but sounds like you guys are closer to the one in Naperville, which has already been open a year). I'm in between here in New Lenox :)
 
I can't remember the last time I got something at Fry's that I didn't have to return because it was broken. Actually, I don't tink that's ever happened.

Computer Heaven is a complete joke. The couple of zit-faced 15 year olds that I've run into there are completely knowledge and intelligence free. They make most of their money doing service contacts for HP/Dell and recycling/selling used PII systems and 7 year old 15" monitors for $75. The parts they do carry are usually outdated and over priced. Oooo, but they do have free pick up and delivery for your system after they ruin it now.
