FrozenCPU's Support Sucks....

Ok, so I just got a Ultra ModConnect Power supply from them. It worked all of 2 days before just shutting off. I've tried it on my wife's PC, and it just doesn't work anymore.

So I call FrozenCPU to get a replacement, and am told to email matt at FrozenCPU.com. I emailed him on Tuesday Morning (the 26th). He finally replied on Wed at the end of the day and wanted some more information (basically what I did to make sure it was a problem with the PSU). I replied, and didn't receive an response from him again until Friday at 2:30pm. So a week has gone by before I was given the go ahead to send this bad PSU back to them for a replacement.

This is not my Idea of good support from a company. When I originally called, the person should have given me all the information I needed to return the Powersupply, and I probably could have gotten the replacement on Friday (or at least Monday). Instead, now I need to send them the bad unit, and they will replace it with a good one. Which will probably be late next week before I get this taken care of.

Just a little rant on my part (and a heads up to everyone else on this forum).
 
I've gone to FrozenCPU in the past (in person) and I'm not surprised their support isn't great. It's a small company. That still sucks though, I haven't had any problems but if I did I can just drive over to them.
 
Oh man, stinks to hear that! I just recently ordered an X-Connect myself, and the shipping was fas. But it was a dud. Sent it back to them to see about some RMA business, and Matt sent me out the new unit yesterday, arrived today. From NY to LA in a day? Even though the first one was a dud, the speed in which they replaced it was fine by me. Hope all works out well for you, though.
 
i always thought frozencpu.com was a great site. i had no problems with them. then again my products didnt break but that suprises me. good luck with getting your new one.
